Goodbye Brazil, Hello New York City
Joshua : After a joyous (10 hour) flight we’re back in the concrete jungle, much learned and experienced through out this trip the most important probably strongly encouraging the acquisition of a PASSPORT. This can be a stretch for many of you but simple gestures such as traveling outside of your city, town, province or state could be equally as effective.
Although we’ve been fortunate to grow up in one of the most multicultural cities of the world, there’s nothing like experiencing the actual roots of it all. To see all across the world we’re not as different as it appears to be - a smile is smile, a frown is a frown.
“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” - Mark Twain
Thank you to everyone involved from the other bloggers and PUMA social team.
Muito Obrigado

Goodbye Sao Paulo, Hello Itajai
Joshua : We’re finally in our last stop in Brazil which is a city called Itajai, a bit different from Sao Paulo which almost seemed synonymous with our home New York City. Before we left Sao Paulo, we embarked on an awesome trip to the AfroBrasil museum led by our good friend and local Sao Paulo native Jun Alcantara, one word to define this place would be ‘amazing’. We can’t wait to explore more of Itajai so far this city is filled with beaches, amazing food, excellent hospitality, and not to mention the port/location where the PUMA Volvo Race team sails off from for the competition.
Yesterday was the first time being on a boat for me (surprise!) a bit nauseating, but an awesome experience so far, Travis tried his hand in paddle-boarding on the beach, while I took more of a spectators point of view (no way!) - we managed to take some great images to post on here today hope you guys enjoy them.
Itajai
